  • All I want for Christmas…

This is a paid partnership with Boots UK.

All I want for Christmas… is to take the last minute stress out of it and feel prepared.

It’s so easy to get caught up in the pre-Christmas stress of trying to buy everything for everyone and feeling like you’ve not got enough time. Relax, you have plenty of time left!

Boots carried out research looking at our Christmas habits and I was shocked to find out that almost a quarter of the UK start their shopping in August. How do you people do this? Please teach me your ways.

Perhaps not so surprisingly, a third of people think they are difficult to buy for – stating they have everything they need. Now whether you relate to that yourself or not, I’m sure there’s someone you struggle to buy for and perhaps you leave them as the last gift to get, or have to ask another family member/friend for more ideas.

Whether you’re a late shopper or one of those prepped before the last summer bank holiday, you can count on Boots to get you through the festive season with their helpful gift guides and the Christmas section of the website. Just filter by who you’re buying for, your budget (and any fave brands they have) and you’ll be sorted in no time.

For me, it’s not so much about the gift I’m buying but about who I’m spending time with that really matters. I can definitely agree with Boots research suggesting 57% of people say seeing the persons face when opening the gift is their favourite part of gifting. It’s great to see when you’ve really surprised someone by remembering that skincare product they mentioned in passing, or knowing what their favourite chocolates are to add as a stocking filler.

So here’s a few gifts I’ve picked up already, but shhh don’t tell them!

    Christmas gifts for him

For my boyfriend I found this gift set from Johnny’s Chop Shop, a cult barbershop chain hailing from London. The Barber Edition set offers the essentials: shampoo with conditioner to hairspray and hair clay. So he shouldn’t need to borrow my coconut scented hairspray for a while…

    Christmas gifts for her

Up next, my sister. Being a yogi I tend to fall into the trap of getting her various yoga related items or clothing but this year I wanted to get something different and you can’t go wrong with a good perfume. Jean Paul Gaultier Scandal is a sweet fragrance with notes of honey and patchouli that she can wear day to day and the gift set has a scarf included too. Something a little different but I’m sure will be useful when she’s setting off to sunrise yoga classes and needs to wrap up.

Can you ever resist picking up a gift or two for yourself? I’ve tried one of the Origins face masks before and it was really rather lovely. When I spotted this Glow As You Go set, it seemed a great opportunity to try out some other products. It’s like Christmas has come early!

Are you someone who is already prepared for Christmas or do you still have gifts to buy and you’re having a hard time deciding what to get? Let me know over on Instagram where I’m trying to spread the Christmas cheer, giving away a Soap and Glory Advent Calendar from Boots (worth £42)

Let me know in the comments how you’re getting on with your shopping. Are you on track and already planning what you’re serving up for Christmas Dinner, or are you nowhere near the sprouts and currently drafting up your list?

Now, what do I have left to buy…
