Back in the summer, I spent a few days in Paris and naturally, I fell (purposefully) into Sephora. I shared what I bought in this post, but these lip stains are so worthy of their own post that it was bound to happen sometime! Plus, I bet if you’re quick you can snap up some Sephora treats in time for Christmas!
I’d only intended to get the pink shade, 06 Forever Fuschia but y’know how it is when those other shades draw you in and the next thing you know, there’s another shade (03 Strawberry Kissed) sitting in your basket.
Both shades are incredibly long lasting, like seriously long lasting. I thought the NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencils were long lasting then I met these. I wore Forever Fuschia out to a meal while we were in Paris, ate my weight in Calzone and it didn’t budge at all. It’s great not having to worry about touching up after you’ve eaten and as long as you allow a couple minutes drying time, you’ll have no lipstick stains on your coffee cups (or glasses I guess, if you’re fancying wine) either!
I paid around 11€ and they’re a total bargain. The creamy formula glides on and isn’t streaky at all. I usually opt for two layers, pressing the colour into my lip before applying the second layer and letting it dry for a moment. I’ve never found either shade to flake off and let’s face it, the pigmentation speaks for itself.
