Big sleeves are in.
Flute sleeves are one of those trends I admired on the mannequins in shop windows, but never thought I’d be able to pull off. Given I’m the kind of person who can spill any meal, big sleeves are fraught with disaster. I pushed that aside and picked up the highly coveted M&S jumper.
Blush pink is one of the big colours this season and adding a pop of colour to my somewhat monochromatic wardrobe definitely seemed like a good idea. This jumper is so soft and I’ve even managed to sway Lewis’ original opinion on it. I think when I first said flute sleeves he thought I was going for something hideously seventies, but he actually said ‘it’s not that bad’ which in lad terms, means he quite likes it, doesn’t it?
I must say though – just be careful when you’re having a coffee, or reaching over the table to pick up food. I’ve had a couple close encounters with sauce!
Oh and these bargain Valentino inspired shoes are from Primark. Yes really! Run now to your local store and pick up a pair, or two… You know you need them and at a fraction of the £600+ price, you can totally justify them too!
Are you feeling the flute sleeve trend?

That jumper and jacket combo is a dream! The colours just work amazingly well! I think I'm going to have to invest in some flute sleeve tops.
