Warmer, lighter evenings are one of my favourite things about summer. Great lighting for shooting outfits, meals al fresco and not having to worry about taking a jacket out for dinner.
Skirt & Cami – New Look*, Shoes – Kurt Geiger, Bag – Kate Spade
This skirt is so floaty (as you might tell from me twirling around and giggling in the photos) and something a little different to what I’d usually wear. My skirts usually won’t reach my knee but due to some recent sunburn that occurred through wearing ripped knee jeans (yes really…turns out my knees burn when exposed to sunlight for prolonged periods of time) I thought maybe it was time to branch out, plus you didn’t want to see pink knees… Though it turns out I now sport tanned knees and white legs, which is an interesting combination.
This midi length is great for dressing up if you’re out for a meal, or even dressing down with some flat sandals; maybe even converse and a bodysuit if you’re looking for that grungy feel.
Silk camis like this are great for summer, they’re lightweight, flattering and you can wear them with anything. An outfit like this one I’ve pulled together, shorts when you’re on holiday, jeans if it’s an overcast day – absolutely anything.
New Look have launched #ThisIsNewLook where you can upload your outfits via the website (and tag on social media) to be in with a chance of winning £200. Sounds pretty good if you’re into your styling…
