One of those ‘fell-into-All-Saints’ moments happened when I was in London recently…
There I was, innocently browsing, I spotted a jumper I liked (merlot/oxblood/burgundy/whatever you wanna call it) tried it on and queued up to buy it. Whilst I was paying, I spotted a coat hanging up behind the counter. I’d not seen it with the sale items, or even at all in store but I recognised it from somewhere, maybe the Newcastle store a few months back? I asked the assistant what size it was and when she told me it was my size, I just had to try it on. It fit perfectly and the arms were’t too long either – woohoo! It was clearly my lucky day, since it turned out it was in the sale too! Not wanting to rush into another All Saints purchase so soon, the sales assistant – didn’t catch her name, sneakily hid it away whilst I went to make my mind up and wander round the rest of Westfield.
Maybe an hour later, I went back. I had my doubts – mainly because it wasn’t my usual shade of black or grey, but there was something about it being the last one there, my size and an absolute bargain. I had to buy it!
Since then I’ve been happily poppin’ my collar and wearing it with basically everything. Something a little smarter to pair with boots, but equally works dressed down with trainers.
TL;DR – I bought a new coat and it’s the best thing since sliced bread imo.
