Now I’ll be honest with you, I don’t really ‘do’ Valentine’s Day but I’m always interested in a new range of products in Lush. I think the whole Valentine’s thing can be cute, but I’m also a firm believer that if you’re with someone you should show them you care more than once a year – right? Anyway, enough of this independent woman rambling, onto the products:

Prince Charming, the shower gel has returned. This year it’s a shower cream, so you’ll get a better lather and your skin will feel more nourished. You’ll still smell like a jaffa cake after using this though, which is probably why I adore it – gonna go buy it in bulk!

Unicorn Horn is back and this bubble bar is pinker and bubblier than before. It smells really sweet and has a lavender undertone, great for those nights you want a relaxing bath before bed.

Lover Lamp is a really cute bath bomb with a chocolate orange and vanilla scent. The confetti hearts are actually made from cocoa butter so they’ll dissolve in the bath. This fizzes quite quickly and leaves the bath white so it’s a nice one to go for if you’re not really into looking like a disco ball or having a strong scent linger on your skin.

Roses All The Way is the soap from the Valentine’s range and unlike the usual soap slices you get, this is an actual rose shape. It makes a great gift and you could even pop one away ready for Mother’s Day! As you’d probably guessed from the name/shape/everything is is rose scented, not quite in the realms of Rose Jam (my all time favourite) but it’s lighter and with rose oil it’s nourishing too.

For the all important prep for those kisses; get your hands on The Kiss lip scrub (I had this last year and it smells and tastes amazing) with little candy bits and of course, it’s bright pink! Top it off with a coat of The Kiss lip gloss for a pink pout and you’re ready to go.

There’s a range of gifts, from the heart shaped ‘Lots of Love’ to ‘In Your Dreams’ which features Unicorn Horn and would be the least Valentine’s orientated so a good choice for a upcoming birthday/occasion – just make sure you pick one up in February.

I had a bath with Lover Lamp the other day and it was absolutely lovely. It smelled far more of white chocolate than orange once it was in the water but I'm not complaining!

Hi Tasha,

I have tried the Prince charming shower cream and the unicorn bubble bar and I love them both. I found that the Prince charming cream was one that you had to use to be able to appreciate it, as a lot of my friends disliked the smell; I will definitely be stocking up on it (it smells a little like Jaffa and Turkish delight to me).
