Hello June, does that mean it’s summer now?!
It’s been a long week and I’m glad it’s the weekend. There’s no Sunday night blues tonight as I’ve got tomorrow off (and Friday, but shhh, don’t go getting too jealous – I was at work yesterday and thought I’d earned myself a shorter week. That’s fair, right?) and I spent this afternoon decorating cakes.
I was invited along to Copthorne hotel in Newcastle, it’s right on the Quayside, for a little afternoon social event bringing together bloggers from the North East. We decorated four cakes altogether, I think my teddy is probably the best one I did, then enjoyed afternoon tea to reward our efforts.
Earlier this week I finished season 3 of Suits and consequently started watching season 4 yesterday. I’ll probably fly through that season too, but OITNB is back on 12th June so all will work out. Suits season 5 doesn’t start in America until later this month, so there’ll be a delay for it getting to the UK anyway. Speaking of TV, GoT is getting seriously tense too isn’t it?!
This week I shared my lunch at Jesmond Dene House (I need more lobster soon) and a little style refresh I was challenged to by Clarity Travel Management. There’s still a few days left to enter my 2nd blog birthday giveaway if you’re interested.

That cake is so adorable! I'd love to learn how to decorate cakes properly, i'm always keeping an eye on deals on group on but can never find any. I'm planning to binge watch OITNB tonight with a big bar of galaxy!
