More early train journeys, busy days at work and afternoon tea to brighten up my weekend. Here’s what I’ve been up to this week.
It’s Fenwick Beauty Week this week and hopefully if you saw my post on Tuesday you got along to try out some new products. If not, don’t worry as I launched a new giveaway on Thursday where you can win either a Space NK gift card or a Fujifilm Instax Mini 8! I’ve also shared my visit to Grosvenor Casino in Sunderland to sample their menu, which was really good and something a little different to normal.
I finally visited Fat Buddha this week and I honestly don’t know why I never went sooner! I went to sixth form in Durham and walked past it at least once a day. Now, 5 years later (seems like such a long time now I’m typing it) I’ve been and really enjoyed their ‘Early Buddha’ menu. Won’t be waiting another 5 years to go back, more like 5 weeks at the most!
Yesterday I took my Mam out for afternoon tea up at Seaham Hall and I’m sure I’ll be talking about that next week at some point, so I won’t say too much now. It was lovely though and it seems like we’re out for afternoon tea every month now… not that I’m complaining! It’s also our second visit to Seaham Hall this week after we attended the Ytsara treatment launch. I’ll be talking about that a little more in the next week or two so keep an eye out if spa visits are something you’re interested in. All the products smell amazing, the treatments sound great and I even tried tempura mussels (and liked it) It seems like I’m getting quite adventurous with my food lately and the next thing I want to try is lobster. If you know anywhere around Durham/Newcastle where you’d recommend I go to try it, do let me know!
Hope you’ve had a great week.
