Spring seems to be (very slowly) creeping in and the lure of Creme Eggs is getting stronger as Easter approaches; surely I’m not the only one? Anyway, today I’m sharing my five from this month, and unlike January, I’ve actually kept it to five. I know…I’m impressed too!
Obviously getting my first car is up there at the top. It’s the most expensive thing I’ve ever bought, but so worth it! Although it’s a bit weird to be driving on my own at the moment, I’m just so glad that I can go where I want, when I want rather than relying on public transport.
I rediscovered my NARSissist palette and I’ve been using it as an alternative to the Too Faced Natural Eyes one which I’ve hit pan on. Four shades I’ve hit pan on, it’s my new record! Blending out with the Zoeva luxe soft definer brush is foolproof and the texture of the NARSs shadows is so lovely, I can have my makeup done in minutes.
I’m trying to work into some sort of gym routine and I’m enjoying my weekly spinning classes and metafit. My aim is to go to the gym twice a week outside of classes, even if it’s just to run a few miles on the treadmill. I’ve picked up some new gym kit too, so now I have no excuse for not going!
Aside from listening to a lot of Fall Out Boy and Taylor Swift (no surprise there) I’ve been really enjoying Ed Sheeran’s latest album. I did give it a listen when it was first released, but it’s really grown on me lately, especially ‘Don’t’ which is so catchy.
Those hilarious photobooth shots are from Benefit’s #poreoclock party last weekend. It was nice to catch up with everyone and the fajitas with Chloe and Dan afterwards were so good! Guacamole is always a good choice!
I also like the way it’s still light at 5pm when I finish work, the new Mother’s Day range from LUSH and the lovely comments and feedback I received on my post, Feeling Sad.
What’s stood out for your this month?

The Narsissist palette is so gorgeous! Congratulations on your first car too, I actually have my driving test tomorrow and my first car is waiting for me at home, it's so frustrating not being able to drive it yet and still having to walk and taxi everywhere!

Yay for VW's! I have one too (not an up! though) and love it. Congrats on the new car! I've been listening to Ed Sheeran a lot lately as well — I think it's thanks to all the songs I'm hearing on the radio. They're getting stuck in my head. 🙂
Congratulations on your car! Ugh I don't listen to Ed Sheeran but that We Found Love Right Where We Are song is definitely growing on me.
