This week has pretty much been all about live music. I went up to Edinburgh on Friday to see The Gaslight Anthem for the third time (fourth time seeing Brian, since he was touring with The Revival Tour a few years back) and they were just as amazing as always.
I always like visiting Edinburgh, there’s something so friendly about the city and I’m getting pretty good at navigating my way around. Unfortunately I didn’t realise there’s an Anthropologie store up there, or I would’ve definitely popped in! The Christmas Market was so busy, though it was opening night on Friday. It’s a shame, cause I would’ve liked to see all the stalls and have some mulled wine.
I had Monday off work this week so we spent it in Newcastle. We saw some of their Christmas Market stalls, did a little bit of shopping and had the best paninis for lunch before visiting The Baltic for ‘They Called It The Moon’ exhibition which we both really enjoyed!.On the evening, we went along to Cal’s Own in Heaton, Newcastle to celebrate their 2nd birthday. It was pretty busy, so safe to say their pizza is pretty popular! Just don’t try to eat a big slice when you’re standing up and wearing a pastel blue coat…
This week I’ve blogged about the Paul Mitchell event I went to recently and NARS Holiday 2014 Collection, specifically the Digital World Lip Pencil Coffret which is incredible! I’m also giving away one of them, so make sure you enter here if you’re interested.
There’s still time to vote for me in the UK Blog Awards, which you can do so here and here. I’m so grateful for all the support and would absolutely love to be shortlisted. If you can spare just ten seconds to vote, it’d really mean so much!
Tonight I’m off to see A Day To Remember, so I’m sure my ears will be ringing at work in the morning! I’m really pleased that Lower Than Atlantis and Decade are supporting though, it’s a great line up!
Hope you’ve had a great week whatever you’ve been up to!
