  • Benefit Dream Screen

hello freckles benefit dream screen SPF skincare reviewProtection from those harmful rays is important all year round, but especially in the summer when they’re typically stronger (and obviously it’s warmer…well sometimes) Today I want to introduce you to my new favourite face SPF, Benefit Dream Screen.

Benefit recently launched ‘Dream Screen’ an oil free SPF 45 that dries matte, that’s right, matte! I was a bit apprehensive to try it under my foundation, but if anything I’ve found the matte finish smooths the skin and acts a little like a primer, so that’s always a bonus! Those of you with oily skin will love this, as sun cream can typically be quite greasy and an absolute pain to apply, but this really does go on like a dream…no pun intended!

Sometimes reapplying sun protection can be a pain, but I’ve never had any issue with Dream Screen. The lightweight formula isn’t sticky at all, applies really smoothly and dries so quickly that you almost forget it’s there! I applied it over Clinique CC Cream (review here) while in Paris and I didn’t end up in a gooey mess. Nor did I have any issues applying it over my Revlon Colorstay foundation either!

The SPF 45 PA+++ protection is fantastic and since it’s a small bottle it’s the perfect size to pop in your hand luggage if you’re jetting off somewhere nice, or just keep handy in your bag when you’re out and about. I always think Benefit skincare looks really cute in the mint green packaging and cork lids!

It’s not cheap exactly; you’re looking at £25 for this little bottle but you really can’t put a price on healthy skin can you?

Have you tried Benefit Dream Screen? What did you think?

It's definitely worth checking out, even if you just pop along to a Benefit counter and ask to see it 🙂 x

Wow a matte finish SPF is pretty impressive, but I think I'm gonna try out the affordable Soap & Glory one that Lily Pebbles has spoke about first 🙂 this looks great though so maybe in the future when budget allows!

Sounds like an amazing product, I love the fact that it drys to a matte finish. Can't put a price on healthy skin and its important to use sunscreen.
