Looking at the instagram collage above, it looks like all I’ve really done this week is eat. While that might be true, I’ve been busy doing other things too like seeing Taking Back Sunday! There’s more on that later though…
I visited Olive and Bean in Newcastle this week, a place I’ve passed by many times and gazed in the window at the varying brands and flavours of tea (if you’ve seen it you’ll know there’s absolutely loads) but never been in. It was a spontaneous trip with Chloe and the food was great, they have a cheese board available and that’s me sold on going back, I’m looking at you Andrew! Chloe and I are also planning on returning for afternoon tea at some point when all the dissertation stress calms down after our deadlines!
As you know, I went to see Taking Back Sunday last Sunday night and damn, they were amazing. There’s more information in this post and I did a little vlog for our trip which you can see here if you like. We came home via Birmingham and after a little wander around the shops I wanted to go in (Zara and Forever 21 in particular) we went to Handmade Burger Co. and had some huge burgers and those peri peri chips, mmm.
On Thursday I got the chance to meet some new bloggers when I went along to the Pysche SS14 event. I’m going to pop up a post on the event early next week, probably Tuesday as I’m looking to try to stick to a schedule with posts up on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday each week (apart from the end of the month where there’ll be a few extras, like my monthly favourites and playlist posts, speaking of which, both of those will be up early next week too if you were wondering).
Just tonight we’ve been to try out the cheeseburger crust from Pizza Hut (so good, but so filling) and see Lego Movie which was really funny. Now I’m gonna chill for a couple hours before getting an early night as we start shooting our dissertation film tomorrow and the call time is 5am, eek!
Hope you’ve all had a good week whatever you’ve been doing!
