  • February Favourites

February always flies over, it’s probably something to do with it being the shortest month of the year! I normally try to get my monthly favourites post up at the end of the month but this time it’s early March and as I’m typing this, all I can think about is the pancakes I’m going to have later today. Mmm!

Seventeen’s Stay Time Concealer has been my go-to for the last month. Since it’s been so hard to get hold of my usual Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer, I came across this one by ( a happy) accident really. It’s creamy, long-lasting and it’s not cakey.

I’m a pretty big fan of the Vitamin E range from The Body Shop, the scent is subtle and fresh and the products are really good value for the price and work well for me. I usually use the Vitamin E Day Cream for both day and night and I do really like it but my skin has been a bit dry lately and in need of some extra moisture and attention. That’s why I opted for the Night Cream and have found it’s really helping with the dry areas.

The Charles Worthington Volume & Bounce Texturising Spray has been described as a dupe for the Oribe texturising spray. Now I’ve not tried the Oribe one (and frankly, I don’t have £30 to spend on a texturising spray) but this Charles Worthington offering is great. It adds texture with a bit of hairspray too, which is really useful for on-the-go. It smells pretty good too; always a bonus.

NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencils are fast becoming my favourite lip products. This shade, ‘Never Say Never’ is probably the one I’ve worn most from the Promiscuous set (post here) it really does last for hours, even staying put through a trip to Handmade Burger Co!

Nuxe Reve De Miel is a bit of a blogger favourite and I’m (slightly) late to the party with this one. I picked it up at the end of January with the hope that it would help my chapped lips and I’m really pleased to say it’s done just that. It smells amazing, so much so that I even made Andrew smell it, not that he seemed as taken by it! I try to use it every night before bed so I wake up with super soft lips and applying any lip colour (like the NARS pencils) is effortless. I really recommend it!
