If, like me you were a bit puzzled about the whole BB this, CC that, what letter will it be next?! Then let me explain, this CC (colour correction) cream is creamy and quite thick, not so much like a BB cream or a foundation but sitting comfortably near a tinted moisturiser; but don’t let that put you off.
I don’t find that I need to use much to cover my face (I have 01 Very Light) and with it being part of the Moisture Surge range of Clinique products, it’s really hydrating. I mentioned it’s quite thick in consistency, giving a medium coverage which blends in really well and my freckles are still visible. I either use my real techniques expert face brush, or my fingers if I’m applying just a little for a lighter coverage. I’ve found myself wearing this alone, without any powder and it stays put all day!
I definitely think it’s worth the price tag, which may seem a bit steep to some at £28 for 40ml. I only use a small amount for my whole face and I can see it lasting me a while. When it runs out I’ll be heading back to the counter to treat myself to another using my Boots points (if I can bring myself to part with them…surely I’m not the only one who enjoys collecting the points but never wants to use them?) I’d recommend you go and get a little sample from the counter first if you’re unsure and make sure you get the right shade. When I first visited the counter I was given ‘light’ which wasn’t the right shade for me at all.
If we get a summer, then this CC cream will definitely be a staple product for me, especially with that SPF30!
Clinique CC Cream
Now I was never one to jump on the BB cream bandwagon when that hype came around, but I’m definitely raving about this CC cream!
Have you tried Clinique’s CC Cream?

Oooh which one have you got? I got the regenerating Dr Jart BB Cream a little while ago when it was on offer in Boots. x
This looks amazing, I've yet to even try a BB cream never mind a CC one!

Hi Lauren, yeah I would recommend the Dr Jart BB cream. Pop down to Boots and have a look at them first though before you buy one because the 4 different ones are slightly different shades. I find the regenerating one to be the most suitable for my skin tone as I'm quite pale. x
